First Baptist Church of Pine Castle is a body of believers in Christ, voluntarily joined together under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to know Christ better and make Him known to others. Evangelism: Winning the lost to a saving faith in Christ. ( Matthew 28:19-20) Edification: Developing believers in the faith. (Ephesians 4:11-16) Education: Teaching the Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-4:2) Expression: Demonstrating our faith through worship, obedience, witness, and ministry. (Acts 3:41-47)

Since 1887, God has been doing exciting things at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle. The family of God here at FBCPC would love for you to become a part of us. The writer to the Hebrews expressed the importance of the church this way when he wrote, “and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV) The members of First Baptist Church of Pine Castle hold to the belief that the family is the most important institution God has ordained. Because of this, we strive to provide opportunities for all ages to come together to worship God, learn more about His love and plan for you, and develop friendships that will last a lifetime and beyond. We would count it a privilege to help you strengthen your family as you grow in knowledge and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. We hold certain truths as inviolable. We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, and that He died, was buried, and came to life again. We believe He is alive today and that He is the only way to Heaven. We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. God’s Word is much more than an ancient book. It provides solutions to the problems we face today, and has answers to our toughest questions as we use it as our daily guide. The Bible in all its truth is the center of the preaching and teaching here at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle.

Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). Although over 40,000 churches are a
part of the SBC, each church is autonomous and self governing. The SBC is
simply an association of Baptist churches who combine their gifts and
resources to share the message of Jesus Christ around the world.
