Bill Burkhalter, Ph.D - Senior Pastor
  Pastor Burkhalter was raised in Orlando from the age of 7 and attended Florida State University, completing a Bachelor's degree in Religion.  He then completed Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

While at Southern, he served as pastor at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Clayvillage Baptist Church.  When he completed his degrees, he began service with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and served primarily in Bangladesh and Indonesia. He was also appointed as a professor at the Indonesia Baptist Theological Seminary in Semarang, Indonesia.  He later served as Supervisor of Graduate Studies at a sister school in Indonesia, and two stints as a visiting professor at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brother Bill was called by God to serve at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle in 2001.  He is married with two grown children.
Larry McKinney - Associate Pastor
Brother Larry has been serving in the ministry since 1988, and has been on staff here at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle since 1995. He attended Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas where he earned a Master of Arts in Communication. Larry's ministry team focuses on creating original dramatic sketches for use in the worship service, and on our large community productions at Christmas and Easter. (See the Drama Ministry page for more details about our very popular Drive-Thru Living Nativity.) Larry is also responsible for the audio and visual media utilized in our service. He and his wife have three children.

Larry is responsible for the Educational ministries here at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle, and oversees the Sunday School and Children's activities.  In addition, he has  recently taken on the Senior Adult Ministries to coordinate the activities and events for our more experienced members.

Daniel Basak - Youth Pastor
Brother Daniel is entering his third year as our Minister to Youth.  As such, he is responsible for our outreach to Middle and High School students, as well as developing ministries for college age adults.

Daniel received his Bachelor's degree in Christian Education from The Baptist College of Florida last May.  He plans on attending the extension campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary located on the campus of First Baptist of Orlando.

Daniel and his wife have two daughters.

Rev. Tom Moses - Music Minister

Tom has great experience serving as our Music Minister.  He has served in that or similar capacities for over 40 years.  A retired executive from Walt Disney World, Tom has stepped up repeatedly when the call for short-term assistance came, and it's never been short-term.  Tom leads “Sounds of Faith,” our choir ministry, as well as overseeing special events like cantatas or special musicals.
